Responsibilities Lead a variety of recreational activities tailored to residents' interests and abilities, including social events, games, arts and crafts, music sessions, and outings. Assist with daily living activities (ADLs), ensuring residents' comfort and engagement during activities. Implement therapeutic programs focused on memory care, dementia support, and aging issues counseling. Collaborate with team members to create personalized activity plans that meet individual needs in assisted living or long-term care settings. Maintain accurate records of resident participation and activity outcomes using Microsoft Office tools or other documentation systems. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to ensure activities align with residents' preferences and care plans. Requirements Proven experience in senior care environments such as assisted living facilities or nursing homes. Strong understanding of geriatrics, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, and memory support strategies. Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with seniors and individuals with disabilities through compassionate communication. Familiarity with program development tailored to senior living or long-term care settings. Excellent organizational skills for schedule management and coordinating resident events seamlessly.
