GENERAL PURPOSE
The Lifestyle Director creates a welcoming, engaging community where residents are empowered to live vibrant, connected lives. This role develops meaningful experiences that promote wellness, lifelong learning, social connection, and resident involvement while bringing the Vivid Life philosophy to life.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and manage a monthly lifestyle calendar that offers a variety of engaging programs and events. Conduct new resident interest interviews in TSO Life and help residents connect with the community. Foster meaningful relationships with residents and provide a high level of hospitality and customer service. Support Resident Council/Board, Resident Ambassadors, and resident-led clubs and activities. Coordinate instructors, entertainers, vendors, volunteers, and community partners. Plan and oversee special events, celebrations, and off-site activities. Maintain resident profiles, program calendars, attendance, and engagement data in TSO Life. Promote programs through newsletters, digital communication, social media, and other marketing channels. Champion the Vivid Life philosophy by creating experiences that support physical wellness, cognitive engagement, and social connection. Collaborate with other departments to create a vibrant, welcoming community experience. Manage the lifestyle budget, supplies, and resources. Supervise and support lifestyle team members and volunteers as assigned. SKILLS and
QUALIFICATIONS
1-2 years of experience in event planning, catering, hospitality, country clubs, hotels, weddings, restaurants, senior living, or community engagement. Creative, enthusiastic, and always looking for new and engaging ideas. Playful with a great sense of humor and a positive attitude. Highly organized and able to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities. Comfortable speaking and presenting in front of groups. Social media savvy, with experience using platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Canva, and short-form video. Ability to facilitate dignified, purposeful, and individualized programming that meets the interests and needs of residents. Proficient in basic computer skills and technology. Ability to build and maintain partnerships with local businesses to create unique and engaging programming opportunities. Passion for creating meaningful experiences that foster connection, engagement, and pride among residents. Must possess a valid driver's license.
