•Arlington is looking for an Activities Director who is ready to bring fun, purpose, and meaningful connections to our residents every day! This isn't just about filling up an activities calendar. We're looking for someone who will get to know our residents, learn what makes them smile, and create activities and experiences they genuinely look forward to. What you'll do: Plan and lead a fun, engaging monthly activities calendar Get residents involved in games, music, crafts, celebrations, outings, exercise, special events, and more Find creative ways to engage residents with different interests and abilities Organize holiday celebrations, themed events, and resident/family activities Build relationships with local churches, schools, volunteers, and community organizations Encourage residents to stay active, social, and connected Work closely with nursing and the rest of our interdisciplinary team to support each resident's individual needs Keep required activity documentation and assessments organized and up to date Help make Town Hall Estates

Who we're looking for: We want someone who is positive, dependable, organized, creative, and genuinely enjoys working with seniors. You should be comfortable taking initiative, planning ahead, and jumping in to make things happen. Previous experience in long-term care, senior living, recreation, activities, or a similar role is preferred. Knowledge of Texas nursing facility requirements is a plus. Most importantly, we're looking for someone with heart — someone who understands that a great activity program isn't measured by how many events are on the calendar, but by how engaged, connected, and valued our residents feel.
