Job Description

Overview EdenHill Communities is a faith based, not for profit senior living community located in Beautiful New Braunfels Texas. Our 27-acre campus, located between two rivers in the Hill Country of Texas, offers exceptional customer service and culture, which sets us apart from other facilities. We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Certified Activities Director to lead engaging recreational and social programs within a senior living community. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for enriching the lives of seniors through meaningful activities, fostering a vibrant and inclusive environment. As a Certified Activities Director, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing diverse programs tailored to residents' interests and needs, with a focus on enhancing well-being, socialization, and cognitive health. Other duties may be assigned. Lead and maintain monthly Resident Council and follow up with requests/grievances as needed Complete necessary documentation, including intial assessments, change of condition assessments, quarterly and annual assessments. As applicable based on level of care requirements. Complete the MDS 3.0 per regulations for those assigned within the skilled nursing facility. Complete individualized Care Plan for each resident Attends and participates in all appropriate department meetings and training/development opportunities.
Education/ Experience Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Position requires current QAD (Qualified Activity Director) through the State of Texas or through
NCCAP, ADC
