We are seeking a passionate and driven Resident Care Director to support both communities as the welcoming face of Vineyard Park. In this role you will help residents and their families navigate important decisions with empathy, confidence, and care. What Vineyard Park Cottages of Renton is looking for in a Resident Care Director.

Build Trusting Relationships:

Build meaningful connections with residents, their families, and care partners to ensure personalized, compassionate, and seamless care.

•

Lead Clinical Operations & Care:

Take hands-on ownership of resident care standards, clinical assessments, and state compliance, spending quality time directly supporting nursing staff and engaging with residents.

•

Guide Families Through Care Decisions:

Walk families through Memory Care, and health service options with deep empathy, helping them feel confident and supported in their care choices.

• Connect with

Prospective Residents:

Participate in initial assessments and family visits to explain our clinical capabilities, ensuring families feel secure about our quality of care.

•

Support Community Growth & Census:

Play a key role in maintaining strong community occupancy by ensuring smooth, welcoming transitions for new residents and delivering exceptional care that drives positive word-of-mouth.

Cultivate Healthcare Partnerships:

Foster strong, collaborative relationships with local hospitals, physicians, discharge planners, case managers, and rehabilitation facilities throughout the area.

Manage Inquiries & Pre-Assessments:

Promptly evaluate clinical inquiries and conduct thorough pre-admission health assessments to ensure our community can meet the needs of incoming residents.

• Educate & Engage the

Community:

Host or participate in health-focused educational sessions, family support groups, and clinical discussions to showcase our community's expertise.

•

Maintain Accurate Clinical & Compliance Records:

Oversight of care plans, medical records, and state documentation standards within electronic health record (EHR) platforms.

• Collaborate with

Executive Leadership:

Partner closely with the Executive Director and interdisciplinary team to align clinical operations with community goals and resident well-being.

• Serve as a

Healthcare Ambassador:

Represent our community as a trusted, highly professional clinical leader who upholds exceptional standards of senior care. What We're Looking For Currently licensed with the state as a professional nurse. Professional in appearance and work habits. Ability to acquire knowledge and understanding of federal and state rules and regulations governing facility. Problem identification and resolution skills. Ability to teach and/or make oral presentations to individuals and groups Genuine interest in the needs of the elderly. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Effective writing skills. Self-motivated and well organized. Ability to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents, families, community members, and all levels of personnel. Demonstrate integrity, imagination, and initiative, showing appropriate manner and conduct. Ability to use and demonstrate use of all resident service equipment. Manual dexterity to manipulate equipment. Ability to direct, delegate, and follow up on programs and service care of the residents.
