Job Summary The Legacy at Silverstone Memory Care is seeking a compassionate, creative, and energetic Activity Director to join our team. The Activity Director is responsible for planning and leading meaningful, engaging activities that enhance the quality of life for our residents. This position focuses on creating a warm, welcoming environment where residents feel valued, connected, and encouraged to participate in daily life. The ideal candidate enjoys working with seniors, has a passion for creating memorable experiences, and understands the importance of providing activities that support each resident's interests, abilities, and individual needs. Responsibilities Plan and coordinate a daily and monthly activity calendar that includes a variety of engaging activities. Lead activities such as arts and crafts, music, games, exercise, outings, and social events. Encourage resident participation while respecting individual preferences and abilities. Build meaningful relationships with residents and learn about their interests, hobbies, and life experiences. Adapt activities to meet the needs of residents living with memory loss and varying cognitive and physical abilities. Coordinate with caregivers and other departments to ensure residents are brought to activities and supported throughout the day. Create a positive, welcoming atmosphere that promotes socialization, independence, and a sense of belonging. Maintain activity supplies, organize the activity area, and ensure the space is inviting and prepared for residents. Document resident participation and responses to activities as required. Collaborate with families and staff to develop activities that are meaningful and enjoyable for residents. Assist with special events, holiday celebrations, and activities that make our community feel like home. Qualifications Previous experience working with seniors, in activities, recreation, or memory care is preferred. Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills. Creative, dependable, and able to work independently. Comfortable working with residents who have dementia or memory-related conditions. A positive attitude and genuine passion for improving the lives of seniors. Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with caregivers and management. Pay:

$17.00 - $21.00 per hour
