Job Description
The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Plans, develops, organize implements, evaluates, and directs the Enrichment Programs of the community. Meets with residents on a one to one basis and as a group to determine what enrichment programs would better meet their needs. Meets with administration, resident care staff and other related departments for planning activities. Develops and maintains a good working report with other departments within the community and outside community agencies to assure that the enrichment program can be properly maintained to meet the needs of the residents. Assists in the development of, and participation in, regularly scheduled orientation and in-service training programs Interviews residents/families as necessary to better provide activities to meet their needs. Involves resident's families in planning programs when possible. Arranges transportation and escorts for field trips and to other communities whenever possible. Encourages the arts and provides materials in keeping with the resident's financial status and the departmental budget. Records and maintains activity progress notes as well as a record of resident activities. Prepare and posts a schedule of activities and keeps the activity Board up to date. Maintains
