1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab RN for a Magnet, Level II Trauma hospital, requiring an active AK RN license and 2 years of cath lab experience. Details Work in the Cath Lab unit of an acute care hospital 4x10 day shift schedule, 7:00am-5:00pm On-call required one day per week plus every 4th/5th weekend (Friday 1800 to Monday 0730) Approximately one Saturday per month required as part of scheduled shifts May float to EP or IR units within scope Uses Epic charting system Requirements Active AK RN license required (must be in hand for auto offer; pending license accepted otherwise) Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Epic EMR experience required Proficiency in cath lab skills such as ACT monitoring, sheath removal/monitoring, procedural sedation monitoring, interventional catheterizations, and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required Must provide full SSN and DOB for compliance Must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility (permanent, travel, or registry/per-diem) Additional Information Located in a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma hospital recognized as a USNWR Best Hospital in Alaska Scrubs provided by facility Free parking available First-time travelers accepted Local candidates not accepted; permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility Former permanent employees may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they reside more than 50 miles from the facility Only one time-off request permitted per 13-week assignment Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) Travelers may be required to float to sister facilities within the state
