4x12-Hour Days or Nights (7:00 AM-7:30 PM or 7:00 PM-7:30 AM) Job description We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a Long Term Care (LTC) assignment in Seward, Alaska. This position provides comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric residents in a long-term care environment, with a focus on chronic disease management, medication administration, wound care, and resident-centered care. Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to long-term care residents. Administer medications, IV therapy, and physician-ordered treatments. Perform wound care, respiratory treatments, blood glucose monitoring, and tube feeding management. Assess, monitor, and document changes in patient condition. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social services, and interdisciplinary care teams. Ensure compliance with LTC standards, infection control policies, and patient safety protocols. Requirements Active Alaska RN license (must be in hand). Minimum 1 year of recent LTC experience . Previous travel experience required . Current BLS certification . Experience with IV therapy, wound care, respiratory treatments, Foley catheter care, and chronic disease management. Ability to float within scope as needed. BI02
