This contract opportunity is well-suited for professionals with a strong foundation in nursing and a passion for supporting patients throughout their recovery journey.
Key Qualifications:
Active, unencumbered RN license Minimum of one year experience in a Medical-Surgical (Med Surg/MS) setting Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills Proficiency with electronic health records and clinical documentation Compassionate, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in collaborative healthcare teams
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct accurate and comprehensive patient assessments Develop and implement individualized care plans under the guidance of the healthcare team Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and IV therapies as needed Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to changing health status Provide education and emotional support to patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-discharge care Maintain compliance with facility standards and regulatory requirements Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to case reviews Those motivated to make a direct impact on patient outcomes in a fast-paced Med Surg unit are encouraged to bring their clinical expertise and dedication to this rewarding contract position.
