Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-MS Job Type Contract Step into a pivotal nursing role and provide essential care on a dedicated medical-surgical unit. In this position, you will utilize your clinical expertise to support patients through various health conditions, coordinate with an interdisciplinary team, and uphold excellence in patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
Active, unrestricted RN license Minimum of one year of recent experience in medical-surgical (Med Surg) nursing Proficiency in patient assessment, medication administration, and electronic health records Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Strong clinical judgment and adaptability in a dynamic environment Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to adult patients on the Med Surg unit Perform frequent patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and report changes in condition Administer prescribed medications and treatments with attention to detail and safety Coordinate and communicate with physicians, allied health staff, and family members to ensure continuity of care Document observations, interventions, and outcomes accurately using hospital-approved systems Educate patients and families on post-discharge plans and ongoing health management Adhere to all hospital policies, infection control protocols, and regulatory requirements This is a contract opportunity based in a well-respected clinical setting, ideal for professionals seeking to broaden their experience in an engaging environment.
