Job Description
Key Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing At least 1 year of experience in Medical-Surgical and/or Telemetry nursing Proficient in monitoring cardiac rhythms and identifying arrhythmias Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications Strong assessment, triage, and documentation skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Demonstrated adaptability to changing acuity and unit needsPrimary Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients on MS and Telemetry units Monitor, interpret, and document patient vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and overall conditions Administer prescribed medication and manage IV therapy following established protocols Coordinate with physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff to develop and implement individualized care plans Educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, and ongoing care requirements Respond promptly to emergency situations, utilizing clinical judgment and protocols Maintain accurate and thorough medical records, ensuring compliance with all facility and regulatory policies This contract role offers a rewarding work environment focused on delivering exceptional patient outcomes and supporting professional development.
