Category Nursing - RN-CVICU Job Type Contract Advance your nursing career by providing expert care in a dynamic Cardiac Intensive Care Unit setting. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU), maintaining a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio for optimal care. Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding promptly to changes and implementing appropriate interventions. Administer medications, perform advanced cardiac monitoring, and support patients on various cardiac assist devices. Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals, effectively communicating patient needs and care plans. Educate patients and families on treatment plans, post-care instructions, and cardiac health management. Uphold strict safety, infection control, and documentation standards in accordance with governing regulations.
Schedule:
Full-time contract assignment (exact shift schedule provided during interview)
Qualifications:
Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license. Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in cardiovascular intensive care or ICU/cardiac environments. Demonstrated proficiency with advanced cardiac monitoring systems and equipment. Strong critical thinking, organizational, and teamwork skills. BLS and ACLS certifications (required).
