Scottsboro, AL Summary of Responsibilities:

This position delivers care to clients utilizing the nursing processes of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation; and effectively interacts with clients and other staff while maintaining standards of professional nursing.

Examples of Job Requirements:

Provide injections as needed and ordered by physician. Provide on-call coverage for the Nurse Delegation Program (NDP) as needed. Assist physician with client medication education. Monitor and maintain medications and make sure that all medications are properly secured. Maintain Patient Assistance Program records. Order Patient Assistance medications. Dispense medications as prescribed when appropriate. Log daily progress notes on each client seen. Provide staff training/materials as needed. Medication monitoring of clients. Conduct counseling if necessary. Provide Crisis Intervention if necessary. Complete other duties as assigned. Annual HIV training for Substance Abuse Program nurses

Supervisor:

Program Director or Clinical Director.

Required Qualifications:

This position requires a BSRN or AS degree in Nursing, with a current and valid license.

$69,199.00 - $98,492.00 per year
