Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - EP Job Type Contract Experienced registered nurses with a focus on Electrophysiology are sought for this rewarding contract opportunity. The role centers around delivering specialized care in an EP Lab setting, utilizing advanced nursing skills to assist with cardiac procedures and ensure the well-being of patients.

Qualifications:
Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license. Demonstrated experience working in an EP Lab environment. Proven expertise with electrophysiology procedures and protocols. Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, technologists, and the broader cardiac care team. Strong assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills. BLS and ACLS certification required; additional EP-related certifications preferred. Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Responsibilities:
Assist with a variety of electrophysiology procedures, including device implants, ablations, and studies. Monitor patients' vital signs and respond promptly to any changes during procedures. Prepare and maintain a sterile field, ensuring all equipment and supplies are available and properly sanitized. Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding procedures and post-care instructions. Document all procedures, medications administered, and patient responses accurately and promptly. Work closely with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
