Key Qualifications:
Active RN license, eligible to practice in Alabama At least one year of recent psychiatric or behavioral health nursing experience Strong communication and teamwork skills Proficiency in de-escalation and crisis intervention Current BLS/CPR certification
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct patient intake assessments and develop individualized care plans Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and evaluate patient progress Collaborate with interdisciplinary mental health teams Document care thoroughly and follow best practices in psychiatric nursing Provide compassionate support to patients and their families Respond to emergency situations following established protocols
