What they do

A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

Job Description

Who We Are Countryside Lodge of Harrison is a CSSP operating a 16-bed therapeutic community. Countryside Lodge of Harrison mission is to empower individuals with serious mental health and intellectual disabilities to live meaningful, self-directed lives in a supportive, respectful, and inclusive environment. Countryside Lodge of Harrison is committed to providing high-quality services that promote independence, personal growth, and community engagement.
Responsibilities may include:
Resident nursing assessments and health monitoring Medical and psychiatric appointment coordination Pharmacy and medication coordination Long-acting injectable medication administration and tracking Medication/MAR oversight and audits Lab and provider-order coordination Admission and hospital-discharge medication reconciliation Follow-up after ER visits and hospitalizations Communication with physicians, psychiatric providers, pharmacies, and other healthcare partners Resident health education Medication-safety and quality-assurance activities Supporting the multidisclpinary treatment team
Qualifications:
✓ Current Arkansas RN or LPN license ✓ Psychiatric/behavioral health experience strongly preferred ✓ Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills ✓ Compassion for adults living with serious mental illness ✓ Ability to work independently and collaboratively ✓ Dependable and comfortable working a rotating 12-hour schedule Why Countryside Lodge? What We Offer LPN:
$26-$30/hour
RN:
