- Your Day-to-Day Duties.

Admissions:
Admit incoming patients. Schedule / conduct Nursing Assessments. Schedule / conduct facility tours for prospective patients & their families / representatives. Coordinate w/ Nursing to schedule admissions, transfers, & discharges of patients. Greet newly admitted patients upon admission (Escort them to their rooms). Participate in the development of written preliminary & comprehensive assessments. Review patient care plans & encourage patient to participate in development & review of his/her care plan. Meet with patients / family members & report problems to the Director. Obtain required written info & patient histories.
Community Awareness & Relationship Building:
Coordinate, direct & administer policies, procedures, events & projects. Build incredible, lasting relationships with new patients / residents. Serve as a liaison between the Administrator, medical staff, advisory staff & other professionals (both inside & outside of facility).
Paperwork, Records & Regulations:
Maintain accurate records of available beds & accurate listing of all patients, their levels of care, assigned room numbers. Maintain original admission & pre-admission paperwork on all current / former patients. Complete accident / incident reports. Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc. Keep up to date of current Medicaid / Medicare & State / Federal regulations.
