The Mercy Nursing Externship is an exclusive, paid winter experience designed for nursing students who are eager to accelerate their growth, build confidence, and gain meaningful hands-on experience alongside some of the most compassionate and skilled nurses in healthcare. As a Mercy Nursing Extern, you'll work approximately 24 hours per week (two 12-hour shifts) and rotate through a variety of nursing units, gaining exposure to diverse patient populations and specialty areas while learning directly from experienced Mercy nurses who are invested in your success.
