1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Room RN for a 13-week assignment at a Level II trauma center requiring 2+ years of ER experience and prior travel experience. Details Work in the Emergency Services department of a 350+ bed, non-teaching community hospital Level II trauma center seeing 45,000+ patients annually in a 30+ bed ER Patient ratios depend on acuity and census, as mandated by the state of California 12-hour rotating evening/night shifts with 3p/5p/7p start times, 36 hours per week Typical schedule includes every other weekend rotation Float required as needed, within scope of skill Epic EMR used, experience preferred but not required Requirements Active CA RN license (or CA BreEZe/CA EMSA accepted, please confirm licensure status) Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2+ years of ER experience required Some trauma experience required Pediatric ER experience strongly preferred Prior travel nursing experience required Two clinical references required, covering the last two places of employment within the past year, at least one from a Nurse Manager or Director Employment history required for the past 7 years, including explanation for any gaps over 30 days Current skills checklist required, valid within the past year Additional Information Provide emergency care to a diverse patient population in a high-acuity Level II trauma setting Any color scrubs permitted, with details provided on first day Interview conducted by IVS with final offer made by hiring manager
