Job Overview Dependable Nursing is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one private duty care for a patient in the home setting. This is a part-time every other weekend case requiring hands-on experience with tracheostomy and gastrostomy tube (G-tube) care. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently in a home environment, has strong pediatric assessment skills, and is dedicated to providing safe, attentive, and family-centered care. Duties Provide skilled nursing care to a patient with a tracheostomy and G-tube in the home setting Perform trach care, suctioning, and monitor for signs of respiratory distress Administer G-tube feedings, medications, and monitor tolerance Monitor vital signs and document patient status per care plan Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate to family/case manager or physician as needed Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with agency and regulatory standards Follow physician's plan of care and agency policies and procedures Maintain a clean, safe, and infection-control-compliant care environment Communicate effectively with family members, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary care team Respond appropriately to emergencies, including equipment malfunction or airway complications Shift Sat and Sun 12pm

• 8pm every other weekend Skills Active, unrestricted RN or LVN license in CA Current BLS/CPR certification Hands-on experience with tracheostomy care and suctioning required Hands-on experience with G-tube feedings and care required Reliable transportation Strong communication, documentation, and critical-thinking skills Ability to work independently in a home care setting

Preferred:

Experience with pediatric ventilator management (if applicable to case) Prior experience with medically fragile/technology-dependent children

Pay:

$33.00
