Position Details:

We are seeking a dedicated Infusion Registered Nurse to join our center in Elk Grove, California . Part-Time, 3 days, 9am to 5pm, 24 hours total.

What We Offer:

Competitive hourly pay between $55 - $60 with variations based on experience and expertise. Responsibilities Administer infusion therapies including biologics, antibiotics, and other medications while adhering to aseptic technique protocols. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and evaluate treatment responses throughout infusion sessions. Manage medication administration, IV insertions, catheter care, and venipuncture procedures with precision and safety. Educate patients about their treatment plans, medication side effects, and self-care strategies to promote health literacy and engagement. Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs. Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. Qualifications Valid RN license in the state of practice with current CPR/BLS certification. Proven experience in infusion therapy, critical care, or hospital medicine settings; experience with outpatient clinics or medical offices is advantageous. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner; proficiency in ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9) is preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and medical terminology relevant to infusion therapy and acute care. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or chronic health conditions such as autoimmune disorders or neurological impairments. Ability to perform venipuncture, IV insertion, suturing, and specimen collection efficiently and safely. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams. Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques essential for maintaining safety standards during procedures.
