8 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring CA RN licensure and prior travel nursing experience. Details Med/Surg Tele unit within a hospital setting 13-week assignment on night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM) May be required to float to like or lower acuity units across 5 hospitals, excluding the ED Requires working 4 weekend shifts within a 4-week cycle and at least one holiday, including the holiday weekend Requirements Active CA RN license required Current AHA BLS and NIHSS certifications required Minimum 1 year of total travel nursing experience required (LVNs excepted) At least 6 months of continuous travel experience immediately preceding submission required 1.5 years of continuous experience in the specialty required, with matching patient ratios if switching units EPIC or combined EPIC/Cerner experience within the last 6 months required 1 supervisory-level professional reference required at time of consideration Certifications must be current with no pending or expired documentation Additional Information Provide medical-surgical and telemetry nursing care within an acute hospital setting First-time travelers will not be considered for this role Returning permanent staff or travelers eligible only after 1 year since last assignment Maximum RTO of 7 days, with no additional requests after submission Candidates must live outside a 100-mile radius of the facility to be eligible, except LVNs/LPNs Candidates on assignment in San Diego for 9+ months or more are considered local and ineligible
