Key Responsibilities:

Provide safe, compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to acute care patients. Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, symptoms, and responses to treatment. Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Administer medications, treatments, and therapies per physician orders and facility protocols. Perform comprehensive patient assessments and recognize changes in patient condition. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, and other professionals to coordinate care. Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatments, and discharge instructions. Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records and clinical documentation. Follow infection-control procedures, patient-safety standards, and hospital policies. Respond appropriately to changes in patient status and participate in emergency interventions when necessary. Deliver high-quality medical-surgical and acute care nursing services in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrate professionalism, adaptability, teamwork, and strong clinical judgment throughout the assignment.

Qualifications:

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program. Active California RN license. BLS certification. ACLS certification. PALS certification. Medical-Surgical nursing experience. Current clinical credentials must remain valid throughout the assignment.

Preferred Skills:

Acute Care experience strongly preferred.
