We are seeking a compassionate registered nurse (RN-BSN) with a California CTC School Nurse Credential (preliminary or clear) to provide essential health services in a school setting. This temporary position runs from ASAP through May 31 and offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, from 8am to 12pm, totaling 20 hours per week.

Key Qualifications:

Active California RN license with a BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) Possession of a valid CTC School Nurse Credential (preliminary or clear) Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred Strong organizational and communication abilities Familiarity with the development and implementation of individualized healthcare plans (IHPs) Comfortable conducting screenings and delivering health services independently

Responsibilities Include:

Conduct hearing and vision screenings for students in all required grades, as well as students with IEPs Maintain accurate records and documentation of screenings and health services Provide support in the health office, responding to student needs as they arise Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to ensure students health needs are met Assist in developing and implementing individualized healthcare plans (IHPs) This is an ideal opportunity for a dedicated school nurse who enjoys flexible, part-time hours and seeks to positively impact students well-being during the academic year.
