Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Telemetry Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in telemetry nursing, with the ability to monitor patients' vital signs and respond to emergencies effectively. This role requires excellent communication skills, a compassionate approach to patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities Monitor patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs using telemetry equipment. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to protocols. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history reviews. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment options. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Participate in emergency response situations, utilizing critical thinking skills to manage patient care effectively. Assist with procedures such as IV infusion, catheterization, and phlebotomy as needed. Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques during patient care activities.
