Job Summary and Responsibilities Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. Provides direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, consults with other practitioners as required and adjusts nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal care. Monitors medical condition of patients and works within scope of practice. Demonstrates ability to perform technical nursing procedures/skills of patient care competently, by implementing ED policies and procedures. Provides care in accordance with mission/philosophy of MMCMS, and as they would like their family to be cared for. Assesses and reassesses and remains attentive, so that all patient needs are met. Expedites ED processes by providing professional, efficient patient care and implements Standardized Procedures whenever possible thereby improving patient satisfaction.
Job Requirements Required:
Education sufficient to obtain a California Registered Nurse license. and RN experience in an acute care facility., upon hire and Two year minimum requirement of critical care experience within the last 3 years. and One year experience in an acute care facility. and
Registered Nurse:
CA, upon hire and Basic Life Support•CPR, upon hire and Advanced Cardiac Life Support, upon hire and Pediatric Advanced Life Support, upon hire and Trauma Nurse Core Course, within 12•months and
Preferred:
Bachelors Of Science Nursing and Emergency Room experience preferred over other critical areas., upon hire Certified Emergency Nurse, upon hire and Critical RN Adult/Neonatal/Pediatric/Acute, upon hire Where You'll Work Founded in 1938, Dignity Health•Mercy Medical Center Mt.
