We are looking for a psychiatric nurse practitioner to join a quality-focused, patient-centered team known for a positive workplace culture at a Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) located in Oceanside , North San Diego County for 10 hour shifts. You will be paired with an onsite psychiatrist who shares the clinical duties and serves as your collaborating physician. The clinical treatment populations are myriad adults in crisis ranging from involuntary to voluntary clients, novel neuropsychiatric presentations, chronic mental illness, substance use disorders and beyond. Clients are screened for those with an acuity appropriate to receive care in this freestanding setting rather than a hospital-based emergency room. Patient treatment is expedited with an aim to successful discharge within 23 hours.EXPERIENCE
Emergency Psychiatry, Consult Liaison Psychiatry, Inpatient Psychiatry, CSU Psychiatry are ideal. Ability to work independently in a fast paced, collaborative, growth-oriented, environment is essential. Must have an active, unrestricted California Nurse Practitioner license and furnishing number at the time of application. 2 years paid post-psychiatric NP licensure experience required, 5 years preferred. CSU shifts are 10 hours in duration, delivered in-person (no tele). No call. Part time or Full time. Currently hiring for Mon-Tue + Fri-SatCOMPENSATION
$207,000 - $215,000 for full time, or prorated for part time roles.
