Job Summary:
The RN, under the direction of the Program Director, is to assist in the oversite of all clinical and administrative activities for the Exodus Recovery Urgent Care Centers including development, implementation and compliance with established standards of care in accordance with all federal, state and local statutes. This RN is responsible for providing direct and indirect services in a manner consistent with Rehabilitation and Recovery principles. Performs comprehensive screening and assessment (if within scope of practice) services to clients as well as providing education, crisis intervention, and medication services in collaboration with Exodus providers. The RN also performs activities that may be carried out only by professional nursing personnel. (RN Only)- supervision and delegation of duties to licensed and unlicensed personnel.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION
Graduate of an accredited school commensurate with licensure in good standing. Minimum two (2) years clinical practice in psychiatric care with strong emphasis on working with severely mentally ill and dually diagnosed clients preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong knowledge of assessment and crisis intervention skills. Ability to work independently and show mature judgment.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE
Current California Licensed RN and current continuing education for maintenance of license. Current CPR Certification required Current non-violent crisis intervention certification preferred. Commensurate with experience.
Pay:
$44.00 - $50.00 per hour
