2Position Charting System:
Cerner Roles & Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in a 20-bed ICU/CCU. Care for patients with complex neuro, cardiac, and post-operative conditions . Manage patients requiring ventilators and titratable critical-care drips. Administer and monitor medications including vasopressors, norepinephrine, dobutamine, dopamine, propofol, and fentanyl . Care for patients with conditions including craniotomies, carotid procedures, ventriculostomies, ICP monitoring, open-heart procedures, post-cath patients, Impella devices, and balloon pumps . Independently interpret cardiac/telemetry monitor strips. Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Cerner EMR . Collaborate with intensivists, hospitalists, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and other interdisciplinary team members. Float to IMCU/step-down or Observation when required. Maintain patient safety and provide evidence-based care in a fast-paced acute-care ICU environment. Qualifications Active RN license required. Minimum 2 years of RN experience required. At least 3 years of ICU experience strongly preferred by the unit manager. General ICU experience strongly preferred. Neuro ICU or cardiac ICU experience is a plus. Travel nursing experience preferred. Cerner experience preferred. Must be comfortable managing ventilated patients and critical-care drips. Must be able to independently read telemetry/monitor strips. BSN not required. Required CertificationsBLS ACLS NIHSS
