California Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our nursing home team. The RN will provide direct patient care, oversee nursing assistants, and ensure the highest quality of care for our residents. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for residents in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor residents' conditions, document findings, and communicate any changes to the healthcare team and families. Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other staff to ensure quality patient care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records. Assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans. Educate residents and their families about medical conditions, treatments, and preventive care. Ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations. Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ASN or BSN). (preferred)

License:

Current and valid RN license in California.

Experience:

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a long-term care or geriatric setting.

Skills:

Strong clinical judgment, communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Certifications:

BLS/CPR certification required; additional geriatric or long-term care certifications are a plus.
