Job Announcement Registered Nurse Job Description Under the direction and supervision of the Coordinator of Health Services, provides oversight of vaccine clinics and related programs, care for children requiring specialized healthcare procedures, administration of medications, assistance with toileting, tube, and oral feedings, first aid, and triage for students and staff. Consistent with the Nurse Practice Act of the state of California, tasks may be delegated to the RN by a credentialed School Nurse with the approval of the Coordinator of Health Services. The RN must be trained and supervised by the delegating School Nurse, and the health outcomes of the student needing the healthcare procedure must be periodically evaluated.Minimum Qualifications Experience:
A minimum of two years of nursing experience, preferably in pediatrics nursing; any combination of experience and training that would indicate possession of the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below.Education:
Minimum of an associate degree in Nursing, Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree preferred.License:
A valid Registered Nurse license from the California Board of Registered Nursing. A current Adult, Child, and Infant Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification including the use of an Automated External Defibrillator. A current First Aid certification and a valid California driver's license.Upon Conditional Offer of Employment:
