Physician, Hematology & Medical Oncology LiveWell Homecare Agency San Diego, CA Job Details Part-time 22 hours ago Qualifications Hematology Medical License Oncology Full Job Description Seeking a board-certified Hematology and Medical Oncology physician to join a respected team in Northern California, offering a balanced work-life environment between the San Francisco Bay Area, Napa Valley, and Sacramento. The role involves providing comprehensive outpatient and inpatient cancer care for a diverse patient population, including new consultations and follow-ups, with support from medical assistants, nurse navigators, social services, and nutrition counseling. Practices include treating solid tumors, hematologic malignancies, and benign hematology , utilizing clinical trials and multidisciplinary tumor boards . The facility features an infusion center, radiation oncology, advanced imaging, and on-site pharmacy .
Schedule:
36 hours patient-facing, 4 hours indirect care, 1 weekend/month on-call, with a typical patient load of 1-2 new patients/day and follow-ups. Qualifications include MD/DO, board certification in Hematology/Oncology, licensure in California, and proven experience in cancer management. Candidates should demonstrate excellent diagnostic, interpersonal, and collaborative skills. Compensation includes a two-year income guarantee of $550K , with potential production-based income from year 3, plus sign-on bonuses, relocation, and comprehensive benefits.
