Full Job Description Role:
Pre-Op Registered Nurse responsible for providing specialized care before and after surgery in a travel assignment.Key Responsibilities:
Assess patients pre-operatively, prepare them for surgery, monitor post-anesthesia recovery, administer medications, document conditions and treatments, respond to emergencies, and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe, patient-centered care.Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum one year recent Pre/Post-Op RN experience, valid RN license, current BLS certification; preferred ACLS and PALS certifications. Must possess critical thinking, excellent communication, physical dexterity, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure, handle equipment, and maintain attention to detail.Additional Requirements:
Ability to assess vital signs, respond promptly to emergencies, and adhere to safety and regulatory standards. Must demonstrate strong technical, sensory, and mental capabilities for effective patient care.Benefits:
