Minimum 7 Years Required About the Role We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room (OR) Circulator for an 8-week contract in San Rafael, California. The RN must be able to function independently as an OR Circulator and provide safe perioperative nursing care across multiple surgical specialties. Candidates must have strong circulating experience in Urology, Vascular, Orthopedics, Pain Management, Spine, Ophthalmology/Eye, and Plastic Surgery procedures. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive circulating nursing care throughout the perioperative process. Prepare the operating room and support safe patient positioning, surgical workflow, and established sterile practices. Independently circulate surgical procedures across required specialties, including Urology, Vascular, Orthopedics, Spine, Pain Management, Eye, and Plastics. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and other perioperative team members to coordinate patient care. Maintain accurate perioperative documentation and ensure compliance with established patient safety and surgical standards. Requirements Minimum 7 Years of Registered Nurse Experience Required, Including Strong Operating Room Circulating Experience. Current, Active Registered Nurse License Required; Applicable California Practice Requirements Must Be Met Before Start. Current ACLS, BLS/BCLS, and PALS Certifications Required. Peri-Op 101 Certification Required; CNOR Certification Preferred. Independent Circulating Experience in Urology, Vascular, Orthopedics, Pain Management, Spine, Eye, and Plastic Surgery Required. This contract opportunity is suited for a highly experienced OR Circulator RN comfortable independently supporting a diverse range of surgical specialties on a weekday schedule.
