An Emergency Room Registered Nurse cares for patients in a hospital Emergency Room. Works with Physicians and other clinicians as part of an emergency care team. Provides emergency medical care and emotional support to patients and families dealing with trauma.

BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH
Stroke Scale (NIHSS), TEAM, TEAM-A, CPI, or equivalent Crisis Prevention/Aggression Management certification Min 2 Years of experience as RN ER Key Responsibilities Perform rapid patient assessments and triage. Identify actual and potential life-threatening conditions. Develop and implement individualized plans of care. Prioritize treatment based on patient acuity and clinical condition. Deliver emergency interventions in accordance with evidence-based practice. Collect and analyze patient data. Monitor cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and hemodynamic status. Recognize changes in condition and initiate appropriate interventions. Provide continuous reassessment throughout the patient encounter. Respond to cardiac, respiratory, neurological, trauma, and medical emergencies. Participate in stroke, rapid response, and code situations. Administer emergency medications and treatments. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams during critical events. Provide education regarding diagnosis, treatment, medications, and discharge instructions. Communicate clearly with patients and families during emergency situations. Promote patient understanding and safety following discharge. Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, imaging services, laboratory staff, and other healthcare professionals. Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharge planning. Ensure continuity of care throughout the patient journey. Delegate appropriately to support staff. Supervise assigned personnel when required. Utilize critical thinking, clinical judgment, and professional discretion in decision-making.
