Epic Special Education Staffing seeks a Licensed Vocational Nurse to support students' health needs in school settings. The LVN will deliver direct nursing care, administer medications and treatments, monitor chronic conditions, and respond to health emergencies. Working closely with educators, families, and clinical teams, you'll help implement IEP/504 health plans and promote a safe, inclusive learning environment. Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care and health support to students in school settings Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and care plans Monitor student health status, including vitals and chronic condition management Respond to health emergencies and injuries, following school protocols Document care accurately in health records and maintain required reports Collaborate with school staff, families, and clinicians to support student IEP/504 plans Educate students and staff on health, safety, and infection control practices Maintain compliance with district, state, and nursing regulations Participate in orientation, trainings, and ongoing professional development Adapt to varied school assignments while upholding Epic's mission-driven, student-focused culture Required Skills Pediatric nursing School nursing procedures Care plan implementation Medication administration Tracheostomy and G-tube care (as applicable) Vital signs monitoring Electronic health documentation Infection control Emergency response Family and staff communication
