Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-ER Job Type Contract Step into a pivotal leadership role overseeing emergency department operations on an interim basis. This opportunity calls for a seasoned Registered Nurse who excels in high-pressure environments and possesses a strong background in emergency services management.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday 40 hours guaranteed each week
Key Requirements:
Active California RN license Current BLS certification Minimum five years' experience working as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Room setting At least two years' experience in a supervisory or management role within an ER TB clearance completed within the last 12 months
Primary Responsibilities:
Direct and manage the day-to-day operations of the emergency department Lead, support, and mentor ER nursing staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and patient outcomes Monitor compliance with regulatory standards, safety procedures, and best practices Collaborate with physicians, hospital leadership, and ancillary teams to promote seamless patient flow Oversee scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation within the department Provide guidance and crisis management during emergent situations This role offers valuable experience for nurses seeking to broaden their leadership portfolio in a dynamic healthcare environment.
