Pay:

$45.00 per hour taxable wage plus $1,246 per week non-taxable per diem for eligible travelers who maintain a bona fide tax home away from the worksite.

About the Role Four Winds Staffing is hiring credentialed clinicians and clinical support personnel to deliver ambulatory care services at Fort Yuma Health Care Center (FYHCC), an Indian Health Service (IHS) facility in Winterhaven, California serving a primarily Native American patient population. Provide ambulatory nursing services at FYHCC. You will perform patient intake and triage, administer medications and immunizations, collect specimens, monitor patients, and document care in the Government EHR

•all in coordination with FYHCC providers to maintain safe clinic flow and timely patient access. About the Facility Fort Yuma Health Care Center is a multi-specialty ambulatory care facility offering Behavioral Health, Dental, Laboratory, Nutrition, Optometry, Pharmacy, Prescription Refill Line, Physical Therapy, Primary Care, and Public Health Nursing services. FYHCC serves the Cocopah and Quechan tribes. The Quechan Reservation spans 45,814 desert acres along the Colorado River in California's Imperial County, just outside Yuma. The Cocopah Reservation is comprised of 1,772 acres near Somerton, Arizona. Cocopah and Quechan tribal members live a contemporary lifestyle while many still practice traditional ways. Key Responsibilities Perform patient intake, nursing assessments, triage, medication administration, treatments, immunizations, specimen collection, and patient monitoring within RN scope and validated competencies. Recognize changes in patient condition and escalate promptly to the appropriate licensed practitioner or emergency response team. Document encounters, vital signs, medications, treatments, education, telephone/triage advice, and hand-offs accurately and timely in the Government EHR. Carry out ordered nursing tasks including medication reconciliation support, patient education, discharge instructions, and referral coordination. Comply with infection prevention, medication safety, workplace safety, exposure control, and emergency response requirements. Participate in required orientation, competency validation, and quality activities. Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (ADN or higher). Active, unrestricted RN licensure in any U.S. State, D.C., Puerto Rico, or a U.S. Territory. Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience in ambulatory care, primary care, urgent care, outpatient specialty care, or a closely related clinical setting. Current BLS from AHA or American Red Cross approved provider. Demonstrated ability to document care in an EHR. Ability to obtain and maintain FYHCC security access, onboarding, and competency validation. Preferred Qualifications BSN preferred. Prior IHS, tribal, or FQHC ambulatory nursing experience.

RPMS/EHR
