As a valued Registered Nurse specializing in NICU, you'll embody the highest standards of patient care while working independently and collaborating with medical teams. Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment with flexible scheduling in a dynamic hospital environment May require floating to other departments (within scope of competency) Possibility for on-call duties during scheduled shifts
Core Responsibilities:
Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks in alignment with state Board of Nursing standards Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive nursing care Continuously gather and assess health data to inform care plans Educate and counsel infants' families to support health outcomes Deliver supportive, restorative therapy and treatment—either directly or via guidance to others Collaborate on, review, and monitor therapy/treatment plans Diligently document according to hospital and regulatory guidelines Utilize available resources and advocate for best patient outcomes Support the mission and values of the healthcare team in every interaction
Qualifications:
Current RN license, eligible to work in Colorado BLS and NRP certifications Proven NICU experience (travel assignments strongly preferred) Exceptional communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills
