Job Description

Intermountain Health seeks a skilled Registered Nurse for our Cath Lab CVIS team. In this role, you'll provide specialized cardiovascular nursing care before, during, and after invasive and interventional procedures. Responsibilities include patient assessment, hemodynamic and rhythm monitoring, sedation support, medication administration, and post-procedure recovery. You'll collaborate closely with cardiologists and technologists in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment that prioritizes safety, compassion, and evidence-based practice. Responsibilities Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedure nursing care for cath lab and CVIS patients. Perform comprehensive assessments and monitor hemodynamics, ECG, and patient status during procedures. Administer medications and moderate sedation per protocol, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Assist cardiologists with invasive and interventional cardiovascular procedures. Manage vascular access sites and post-procedure recovery, including patient education and discharge instructions. Respond to emergencies using ACLS protocols and support rapid interventions. Document all care accurately in the EHR and maintain regulatory and safety standards. Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and ancillary staff to coordinate patient-centered care. Maintain competency with cath lab equipment, radiation safety, and sterile technique. Participate in quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and ongoing professional development.
