- $100 an hour 6 hours ago Qualifications CPR Certification RN License BLS Certification Driver's License Full Job Description Independent Contractor Home Health RN Earn Extra Income PRN Professional Home Health Care is hiring an Independent Contractor RN to case manage and make home visits in the Broomfield and surrounding areas.
This position is a wonderful match for those nurses who are skilled at one-on-one client care, assessment, critical thinking, and patient teaching. Great opportunity for those who are able to self-manage, be dependable, good at time management, and able to meet the strict state and federal home health care rules. We offer assistance (for a fee) in setting up your company if you have not already done so. We have a comprehensive training program (at no fee) for those new to home health care. PRN contract, or full-time with benefits position at weekly salaried rate, or part-time per visit employee position also available if you prefer to be an employee.

Most visits are 1/2 hour. Initial visits require more time. No limit from Professional Home Health Care on the number of visits you may do per week

You must be able to self-manage and meet all of our nursing standards and requirements.
Qualification:
- Current Colorado Nursing license
- Valid Driver's license, clean MVR, and proof of auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass Criminal Background Check
- Malpractice insurance
- Workers' Comp insurance or waiver of coverage
- current CPR certification Responsibilities and Duties include:
- Case manages clients assigned
- Makes all nursing home visits for the client and provides care approved by us and ordered by the physician.
- Assesses patients' needs, reports findings to physician, obtains orders for new needs, and implements the care plan.
- Completes required documentation daily that makes evident patient/family needs, interventions, and progress in accordance with clinical, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Assures that all documentation is available in the electronic record within the daily deadlines.
