RN - ICU

Job Summary:

Provides specialized critical care nursing to patients with serious, complex, or life-threatening medical conditions. Performs continuous monitoring, manages advanced treatments and therapies, and collaborates with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide safe and effective patient care.

Education & Experience:

Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required. 1-2 years of ICU or critical care nursing experience preferred. Experience caring for critically ill patients and managing complex treatments is preferred.

Licenses & Certifications:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required. BLS certification required. ACLS certification required. CCRN certification preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive assessments and continuously monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, respiratory status, and other critical parameters. Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and other prescribed critical care treatments. Manage and monitor ventilators, invasive lines, drains, and other critical care equipment. Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies. Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Provide patient and family education and support when appropriate. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow infection control, patient safety, and critical care standards. #Workwolf
