An Emergency Room Registered Nurse cares for patients in a hospital Emergency Room. Works with Physicians and other clinicians as part of an emergency care team. Provides emergency medical care and emotional support to patients and families dealing with trauma.
Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience required. Strong Medical/Surgical and Emergency Department (ED/ER) experience required. Experience with inpatient Med/Surg, observation, swing-bed, ER, or outpatient infusion preferred. Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required. AHA Procedural Sedation Module required. Athena EMR experience preferred. Must be flexible and willing to float between assigned areas as needed. 2.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to adult patients in the Medical/Surgical and Emergency Department settings. Assess patients, administer medications and treatments, and monitor for changes in condition. Care for patients with conditions including CHF, COPD, pneumonia, UTI/AMS, failure to thrive, and post-operative orthopedic conditions. Support emergency care, outpatient infusion, observation, and swing-bed patients as needed. Perform accurate documentation, communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team, and maintain patient safety and infection-control standards. 3. Compensation + Additional details:
