A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

Open Positions:
1 70 miles Radius Rule Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care and perform patient assessments. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Assist healthcare providers with examinations and patient treatment. Respond to medical emergencies and perform appropriate emergency procedures. Conduct sick call and prepare patients for provider evaluations. Monitor patient conditions and document care accurately. Observe and document patient behavior. Maintain security within the medical unit and properly secure supplies and equipment. Participate in medical file reviews, reporting, accreditation activities, and operational requirements. Requirements Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a degree or diploma in Nursing. Current and unrestricted RN license in the state of employment. Active BLS from AHA is required At least one year of professional nursing experience is required. Additional Information 36 hours per week guaranteed Typically 3 x 12-hour shifts per week Day or night shifts available based on scheduling needs. Candidates should have open availability in accordance with scheduling requirements. #
