As an RN, you will be responsible for providing professional nursing care to students in the school settings. You will assess the health problems and needs, maintain medical records and ensure compliance with health regulations. The School Nurse will collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to support the physical and emotional health of students.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current CT RN license. BLS/CPR certification. Experience in school nursing or pediatrics preferred but not required. Up-to-date medical documentation (Physical, Titers, QuantiFERON). Fingerprinting clearance. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with medical records management systems and HIPAA compliance standards. Compassionate demeanor and excellent communication skills. Previous experience in urgent care or clinic settings a plus.
