Acute Care CareRev is seeking experienced Telemetry Registered Nurses (RNs) for local per diem shifts in Bristol, Connecticut. Earn $63

•70 per hour while choosing shifts that fit your schedule. This opportunity is for local clinicians who live in Bristol or the surrounding area. What You'll Do As a Telemetry RN, you'll provide skilled nursing care to patients requiring cardiac monitoring in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities may include:

Assessing, planning, coordinating, evaluating, and delivering patient care Monitoring and interpreting ECG rhythms and identifying changes in patient condition Caring for patients with common cardiac conditions, including congestive heart failure and atrial fibrillation Providing post-ACS and post-MI care according to established protocols Administering and monitoring cardiac medications and drips according to facility protocols Supporting ECG administration, cardioversion, and external pacing Collaborating with physicians and other members of the care team to provide safe, effective patient care Requirements Current RN license in good standing with the State Board of Nursing Minimum 1 year of full-time inpatient Telemetry RN experience, with recent experience within the last year Current AHA BLS certification ACLS certification may be required prior to your first shift Strong ECG interpretation skills Knowledge of cardiac rhythms, relevant labs, medications, and common cardiac conditions Proficiency with post-ACS/MI care protocols Familiarity with cardioversion and external pacing Experience titrating common cardiac drips according to facility protocols Strong assessment, critical thinking, communication, and patient care skills Why Work Per Diem With CareRev?
