In this role, you will analyze outcomes data, lead evidence-based quality initiatives, and partner with interdisciplinary teams to improve safety, care standards, and patient experience. You will conduct audits, support regulatory readiness, and educate staff on best practices. Responsibilities Lead nursing quality improvement initiatives across assigned units Analyze clinical data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improved outcomes Develop, implement, and monitor evidence-based quality improvement plans Educate and coach nursing staff on quality and patient safety standards Conduct audits, chart reviews, and root cause analyses for key indicators Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and leadership on performance metrics Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and hospital policies Report quality metrics and outcomes to leadership and interdisciplinary teams Support implementation of best practices, protocols, and clinical pathways Promote a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and patient-centered care Required Skills Quality improvement methodologies (PDSA, Lean, Six Sigma basics) Clinical nursing expertise in acute or ambulatory care Data analysis and interpretation of quality metrics Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation and reporting Regulatory and accreditation standards (e.g., Joint Commission, CMS) Root cause analysis and incident review Development of clinical protocols and workflows Education and training of clinical staff Performance measurement and outcome reporting Patient safety and risk management practices
