1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Critical Care Float RN for a 16-week night shift assignment requiring recent ICU/ED experience and a CT or compact RN license. Details Critical Care RN Float Pool position floating between ICU, Intermediate Unit, and Medical-Surgical units as needed Patient ratios vary by unit and can be discussed further during interview, generally 5 to 1 12-hour night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Rotating weekends and holidays required 36 hours per week over a 16-week assignment Requirements Active RN license (CT or Compact) required Current BLS/CPR and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of recent ED and/or ICU nursing experience required
EPIC EMR
experience required Flu and COVID vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required Additional Information Float role supporting multiple critical care and medical-surgical units based on facility needs Participates in mandatory overtime rotation as part of the unit's coverage pool during the assignment Weekly orientation offered every Monday Local candidates within 75 miles of the facility are accepted Radius-based pay rate structure applies for candidates outside the local area
