1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Interventional Radiology position requiring CT/compact RN licensure and prior IR procedure experience. Details Work in the Interventional Radiology unit of a hospital setting 10-hour day shifts with rotating start times of 7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, or 8:00 AM 40 hours per week on a rotating shift schedule including weekends and holidays On-call responsibilities required Mandatory overtime may apply as part of unit rotation coverage Requirements Active RN license (CT or Compact) required Current BLS certification required ACLS certification required Two years of experience performing interventional and special radiographic procedures preferred Hybrid interventional radiology experience preferred Considerable knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and applicable diagnostic equipment, procedures, and techniques required Knowledge of radiation safety, infection control, and patient safety techniques and policies required Additional Information Perform interventional and special radiographic procedures within the IR unit Candidates must interview with the hiring manager prior to offer Local candidates accepted Local rate available for candidates within 75 miles Radius rate available
